Mental health problems have the potential to negatively impact employees’ productivity and the overall morale of an organization.
Stress, depression, anxiety and other mental health concerns contribute to increased absenteeism, lateness, and an employee’s overall drive to do well and succeed in a company. Additionally, organizations are now confronted with post-COVID concerns and other pandemic related challenges, such as remote work, transitioning back from remote work, and employees who may be experiencing symptoms related to Long COVID, including those that directly impact mental health and wellness.
